How We List Tools
We want LatgenHub to be useful, accurate and fair. Here is exactly how a tool gets listed, ranked and updated.
1. How we find tools
- Our system checks developer communities, launch sites and new open-source projects several times a day.
- Visitors suggest tools using the “Suggest an AI” button.
- Our team adds well-known tools by hand.
2. What every tool goes through
- Duplicate check: names and website addresses are compared with every tool already listed.
- Safety check: each website is checked against Google’s database of malware and phishing sites. Flagged sites are never listed.
- Reading the website: an AI model reads the tool’s public homepage and drafts a short, plain description, its category, pricing and platforms.
- Quality filter: anything that isn’t a real, usable AI product, such as news articles, blog posts or lists, is rejected.
- Review: when the system isn’t confident, the tool waits for a human editor before it goes live.
3. Verified listings
Tools with a Verified badge have been checked by our team: the website works, the description is accurate and the pricing was correct when we checked.
4. How ranking works
Trending is based on visits and community votes from the last seven days, with a small boost for newly launched tools. Companies cannot pay to change their Trending position.
5. Reviews
Some tools include “Our take”: a short review with pros, cons and who the tool is best for, written by our team.
6. Sponsored placements
Companies may pay for clearly labelled sponsored spots. Sponsorship never changes a tool’s description, review or Trending rank.
7. Keeping listings current
Every listed website is regularly re-checked for safety. Tools found to be unsafe are removed immediately.
8. Corrections
Spotted something wrong? Email [your email address] with the tool name and the correction. We aim to fix errors within 2 working days.
